MUSICAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING
In 1990 he began playing the electric guitar and began studying classical guitar privately with Maestro Luigi Verrini.
In 1993 he enrolled at the Academy of Modern Music in Modena under the guidance of Alex Stornello teacher of electric guitar of the rock-metal course, he follows and passes the relative exams of the complementary courses of Ear training and functional Harmony.
In 1995 he obtained the license of theory and rhythm for instrumentalists at the Conservatory of Music “O. Vecchi ”of Modena.
In 1996 he obtained as an external candidate the lower grade of classical guitar at the Conservatory of Music "O. Vecchi ”of Modena.
Since 1997 he has taught electric guitar privately and at public music schools.
He participates in various seminars and clinics of internationally renowned guitarists such as: Steve Morse, Frank Gambale, Scott Henderson, Shawn Lane, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Juan Lorenzo, Maurizio Colonna, Marty Friedman, Greg Howe and Carl Verheyen.
In 1997 he graduated in electric guitar at the Milan Academy of Modern Music with full marks.
In 2015 he obtained the teaching qualification of the National Modern Music Institute programs.
CONCERTS AND PERFORMANCE
Since 1991 he has carried out an intense live activity as a soloist, with various bands and orchestras with live performances in clubs, discos, squares throughout Italy and at various television broadcasts on Canale Italia.
PUBLICATIONS
In 1994 he recorded the first demo with the band The Storm, two original songs in the hard rock style.
Between 2001 and 2007 he recorded several demos with the band Nth and as a soloist composed of original songs in progressive-metal style, which obtained excellent reviews on the monthly for guitarists Guitars in the "Emergenza guitarre" section and on various websites such as sharpless.com and musicplus.it.
He is the author of articles concerning: teaching, transcriptions and reviews for the "Rock Guitar Legends" section on the monthly magazine for guitarists Guitar club.
AWARDS AND COMPETITIONS
In 2000 he was fourth in a national competition organized by the weekly magazine "Hard", to play a live song with Steve Vai at the Alcatrazz in Milan.
In 2002 he was a finalist with Nth in the national competition for emerging bands Soundtrack 2 in Jesi (AN) with the original song "Alchemy".
In 2007 he was first classified with the Nth at the local competition for emerging bands Hard Rock Cafè Cesare in Savignano sul Rubicone (FC).
In 2008 the original song "Shadow zone" was broadcast on Radio 1 for the Rai Demo broadcast.
In 2012 he was a finalist in the national electric guitar competition Piceno Guitar Festival for the Guitar Duel contest.
