Ray Kelley is a seasoned musician, producer, composer, and audio engineer whose passion for music has been a defining part of his life since childhood. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ray began playing bass guitar at the age of 12, discovering a gift that would ultimately become both his calling and his career.

During his teenage years, Ray served at Greater Emanuel Apostolic Temple, where his musical abilities began to flourish. He continued developing his craft throughout high school and college, earning multiple awards while cultivating a deep appreciation for jazz. Although jazz was his first musical love, Ray recognized a greater calling to use his musical gifts to inspire others through Gospel music and Christ-centered artistry.

Driven to expand his knowledge of recording and music production, Ray relocated to Indianapolis and later Nashville, Tennessee, where he pursued formal education in the recording industry. After completing his education, he returned to Ohio and began pursuing professional opportunities within the Gospel music industry. In 2002, his songwriting talent was recognized with an honorable mention in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest.

Throughout his career, Ray has had the privilege of sharing the stage and studio with some of Gospel music's most respected artists, including Kirk Franklin, John P. Kee, Marvin Sapp, Beverly Crawford, Dawkins & Dawkins, Lamar Campbell, Rodney Posey, and Dr. Leonard Scott. His dynamic bass playing, musical versatility, and professionalism have established him as a trusted session musician and live performer.

Since 2010, Ray has served as the owner and founder of Ray K. Productions, providing professional music production, recording, mixing, mastering, and beat production services for independent and label-signed artists. His work encompasses Gospel, Christian, Jazz, and R&B, combining technical excellence with musical creativity and spiritual depth.

With a commitment to keeping God first, Ray Kelley continues to create, produce, and contribute to music that uplifts, inspires, and leaves a lasting legacy. His journey is a testament to the power of developing one's God-given gifts and using them to make a meaningful impact through music.
