Hi, I’m Andrea Perna, a recording, mixing & mastering engineer based in Paris, specialising in indie, DIY, ,noise rock, experimental, ambient, post-punk, shoegaze and leftfield music.
I'm the owner of Hairy Ear Studio, a small project studio where I combine digital tools with a selection of gritty analog boxes (Tronographic Rusty Box, Intersound IVP, Harmonic Percolator, etc.) to bring texture, dynamics and character to your sound.

My goal is to help independent artists make honest, atmospheric and emotionally resonant records, no matter the budget or recording setup. If your tracks were recorded at home, in a rehearsal room, or captured through unconventional methods, you’re in the right place.

I mix with a service mindset. We talk vibe, influences and references. I keep what makes your track unique, enhance what’s buried, and make sure the final mix feels like your world — just bigger, clearer and more powerful.
