Patrick Nelson is a multi-instrumentalist based in Minneapolis, MN. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and has since maintained a busy performance and recording schedule with various artists as a drummer, bassist, and tuba player.

He has had the privilege to perform along side the likes of John Scofield, Eric Hutchinson, Grammy Award winner Bryan White, Grammy nominated Singer-Songwriter Natalie Cromwell, Ricky Peterson, Bill LaBounty, The Harry James Band, the Jimmy Dorsey band, the Exultate Chamber Orchestra & the Grand Symphonic Winds.

As a founding and touring member of the tap dance/live R&B group 'Rhythmic Circus', Patrick performed in over 300 U.S. cities as drummer and musical director. In addition, the group visited China, the Netherlands, Scotland's Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Virgin Islands. The group also performed extended runs at the New Victory theater in NYC and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

In Minneapolis, he plays regularly with a number of artists, while also freelancing with corporate groups and as a studio musician.
