Hi, I’m Paolo Parolini, an Italian percussionist born in 1987. I began studying the drum set when I was 11 and I graduated with honors in Percussion Performance at Padua Conservatory in 2011. The following year I obtained a Master Degree with honors in Percussion Performance at Adria Conservatory specializing in solo performance and orchestral percussion and finally in 2014 I received a Master Degree in Musical Instrument Teaching from the Adria Conservatory.

Since 2007 I play as principal percussionist in the “Civica Orchestra di Fiati di Padova” and since 2008 I’m extra percussionist and timpani substitute for the “Orchestra di Padova e del Veneto”. I co-founded the Oxygen Percussion Quartet, the Outlandos Duo and the Lyceum Quartet, and I collaborate with other chamber music ensembles. I play also in pop-rock bands and in some early music consorts.

Since 2011 I’m teacher of Percussion at the “Liceo Musicale Marchesi” in Padua, where I also conduct the Percussion Ensemble and I also teach drum set and percussion privately in the north-east area of Italy.
