Any sounds I can coax out of the two acoustic guitars I have (one permanently in open D tuning for different sounds and approaches) or the Gretsch Baritone (I wish I could play that guitar on more songs) or the 12 string or the Les Paul... whichever guitar I pick up I want to try and make something with it.

I've always got ideas, some are great, some are ill advised... some seem designed for my voice, others I don't have a hope in hell of being able to sing a melody over... it's all about discovery... being a good songwriter and a better human... that's all I want
