Greetings everyone! Welcome to my Air Gigs page.
My name is Shawn, and I'm here to help you take your compositions, artistic ideas, and musical dreams to the next level by giving you competitive rates on all of my music and audio services. I work full-time out of The Mohawk Studio, located in Sandusky, OH, a 173yr old fully restored Church. I can achieve the sound you want by using a high-end rig of both analog and digital gear running into and out of Pro Tools.

Over the last 22 years, I've worked on hundreds of music tracks in all genres and audio and video projects for happy clients and artists in over 15 countries on all ends of the spectrum from producing, mixing, mastering, session guitar and bass work, and more! My work has appeared in TV shows, independent films, Netflix, video games, podcasts, and FM radio, among other places.

Here's More about Shawn & The Mohawk Studio:

Shawn started recording his band in his childhood home’s basement in 1993 as a Sophomore in High School. Leaving his home in Ohio for Hawaii and Japan in 1995, where he continued his musical journey in a punk band called 33inch Mickeys.

Returning back to the Great Lakes in the 2000’s to start The Mohawk Studio in a one bedroom apartment near Cleveland, OH.

In 2013 Shawn went on to produce music in Chicago at Electrical Audio Studios, with Steve Albini (Nirvana, Bush, Hum, Pixie’s). The Mohawk Studio was then based in Huron, OH in his home on the lake, recording & producing dozens of Albums.

In 2017, he found a 6,000sq/ft 169yr old Church in Sandusky, OH that became the current home of The Mohawk Studio. The studio is also home to HALO Live (Live music & arts venue) now, Shawn’s team of Jared KB, Zeke Johnson & Grace Newell keep the machine that is The Mohawk Studio moving along.

Our philosophy is more than just the music. It’s about focus, artistry, commitment and attention to detail. Our team has worked with an eclectic range of talents, spanning rock, hip-hop, bluegrass and even punk. We’ll bring not just your music to life, but also your movie or short film, yes we love foley, scoring and building soundtracks for film.
