Miguel Fajardo is a violinist, producer and composer. With more than 20 years of experience. Classically trained with renowned violinists like Jorge Risi (Uruguay), Sebastian Kwapisz (Poland), Ivan Petrov (Chamber music, Russia), and then trained in Jazz Violin by the great Tim Kliphuis (Netherlands).

He has performed in the US, Mexico, France, Germany, and Italy and has collaborated with renowned artists like Karen Bentley (USA), Sébastien Giniaux (France), Rodrigo de la Cadena (Mexico), Pedro Dabdoub (Mexico), El Inti (Chile), Franklin Electric (Canada).

His two main styles are: Gypsy jazz (in the style of Grappelli), and classical music, although he has recorded and performed different styles like rumba, klezmer, salsa, flamenco, and pop.

Miguel’s unique sound consists in his classically trained technique, and his influences from the jazz and popular music world, he’s able to read complex music scores, but also improvise a solo over a backing track or making an arrangement on the fly adding lush strings to a beat. And also important to mention: he has the ability to record in his own studio and has great skills with Logic Pro X, and recording, mixing and mastering.

His musical influences range wide, from great violinist H. Wieniawski to Stephan Grappelli, composers like Ravel to Stevie Wonder and Jacob Collier. From Bach to Louis Cole. He’s a very versatile musician with a very open mind in music.
