Katleen, a versatile French-American vocalist, draws inspiration from a diverse musical upbringing that includes Opera, American rock, jazz, gospel, and French classics. Katleen studied opera and composition at the Bass School of Music at Oklahoma City University. In the field of opera, Katleen was recognized by the La Jolla Symphony winning a young artist award for her performance of the Queen of the Night from Mozart’s Magic Flute. Katleen seamlessly navigates between live performances in Europe and the United States. She has graced prestigious venues all over the world, performed and recorded for Disney, and has had her voice and songwriting skills showcased on TV shows - ranging from Pop to Dance to Jazz, etc. Last year, Katleen was invited by the French Consulate in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the celebration of French culture and heritage where she premiered a few songs from her then unfinished French Bossa Nova album. She was invited once more this year to perform for the very first jazz festival in Jeddah, Jazz in Jeddah 2024. Her album seamlessly fuses the French jazz and Brazilian bossa nova style’s transporting the listener to the streets of the city of lights.
