Jimmy Fingers is an accomplished keyboardist from Reading, Pennsylvania. As a keyboardist, bassist, vocalist, talk boxer, producer, bandleader, and music teacher, he wears many hats. He is a multi talented, dynamic artist and producer who has performed almost every style of music from gospel, classical, R & B, and Jazz to reggae, rock, pop, and everything in between.
Jimmy began playing the piano at age seven by classical training, as well as learning to play by ear in local churches. It wasn’t long before he was performing in front of large audiences.
Notably at age fifteen, his church band, consisting of him and two cousins of the same age, performed, competed, and won the 1st place award at the World Famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, NY. They won the amateur night competition three times in a row performing instrumental versions of popular R & B songs.

Next he formed his own band called “Jimmy Fingers and Generations”. At age 19, Jimmy was the youngest member of the group consisting of seasoned musicians all over the age of 40. Jimmy acted as band leader, booking agent, and wrote all of the music.

After completing high school, Jimmy studied music education at West Chester University before pursuing a full time professional music career. He began performing a wide variety of music with many different groups, cover most styles of music including reggae, funk, r & b, rock, country, classical, jazz and jazz fusion, blues, neo soul, and pop.

As word spread of his talents, he had the opportunity to tour internationally and perform with some well known artists such as The Supremes, The Three Degrees, Kelis, Jaguar Wright, Eric Roberson, Gerald Veasley.

Since 2006, Jimmy has been a member Burnt Sienna, of one of the top grossing top 40 covers bands on the east coast. He took a 2 year hiatus at the end of 2009 to tour and perform in Japan, were he met his wife Masumi who is also a spectacular professional vocalist.
In Japan, Jimmy and Masumi frequently performed together. They began by performing together as a duo, as well as producing concerts where they put together bands and rented out venues. Quite notably was a show they entitled “Soul Music Festival”. This was a large show that they put on in Japan to benefit victims of the 2011 earthquakes and tsunamis.
Currently Jimmy continues creates custom recordings for other artists, teachers keyboard lessons, and performs live shows with his own band and with other local and international acts as well.
