I'm Jeff Donaldson, a professional drummer and percussionist with 30+ years of experience bringing groove, feel, and energy to recordings and live performances.

My specialty is rock—powerful, musical drumming that serves the song. I believe the best drum track isn't necessarily the busiest one; it's the one that makes the entire track feel better.

I'll listen carefully to your song, learn the arrangement, and create a custom drum performance built specifically around your music. Whether you need a tight pocket, big rock energy, dynamic builds, or tasteful fills, I'll focus on making the drums feel like they belong in the song.

I've performed and recorded with artists throughout the Midwest, including the Jay Jesse Johnson Band, and my playing can be heard on multiple album releases. I also have extensive experience in live performance, studio recording, and percussion.

If you're looking for a drummer who prioritizes groove, feel, and serving the song, I'd love to hear what you're working on.
