Isabel Williamson is a professional cellist based in Manchester, UK, who specialises in applying her formidable skill and creativity across genres. Her powerful musical instincts, natural skill at communication and pure joy in music-making make her an asset to any live performance, and uniquely well placed to bridge the pop/classical worlds and bring artists' visions to life in the studio.

Since graduating from a Masters at the Royal Northern College of Music in 2017, she has enjoyed a varied career encompassing orchestral playing, session work, function gigs, teaching, composing and arranging. She is a member of the alternative band Bonfire Tide, and plays regular classical recitals with her duo partner of 10+ years, Jonathan Ellis. She plays a 2008 Alan McGeoch cello and uses a Myers ‘The Feather’ pickup.
