After high-school Gergő attended to the jazz-department of Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (earlier Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität), where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in June, 2017.

He also studied instrumental pedagogy at the Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt, Austria, with Gerald Gradwohl (Tangerine Dreams, Bob Berg, Gary Willis, Kirk Covington) and electric bass as second instrument with Wolfgang Wograndl (Bob Berg, Rick Margitza, Bob Mintzer).
