Born and raised in Colorado, Evan Suiter began his professional career at age thirteen. He has been practicing, recording, and performing ever since, and by the time he graduated high school he was looking to make a career in music.

Evan studied music in college and received his B.A. in Music Education in 2008. Evan has continued his musical exploration by frequenting Victor Wooten's Center for Music and Nature near Nashville, TN. There he has had the opportunity to learn and work with many of the center's regular instructors including Chuck Rainey, Anthony Wellington, Steve Bailey, Adam Nitti, Jeff Coffin, and Victor Wooten.

Evan currently lives in Colorado and keeps a busy performance schedule with both large and small groups, demonstrating styles such as jazz, Latin, funk, and contemporary rock/pop. He has been fortunate to play with many great musicians, accompanying artists such as Bob Dorough, Joseph Wooten, Wayne Bergeron, Bob Mintzer, John Fedchock, The Drifters, KJ Denhert, John Graves, Danny Seraphine, and Joyce Lyons.

Evan has also been an active educator teaching privately as well as holding faculty positions at Fort Lewis College and Stillwater Music.
