DM Studio was designed and built in 2001. It is located just north of downtown Los Angeles. We are using a ProTools HD2 digital recording system with a new AVID HD16 i/o converter and a 192 i/o. The system is powered by an Intel Mac "Xeon" quad core computer. The tracking room is 14' by 22'. It is a fantastic sounding drum room! Microphone selection, includes a number of Shure mics KSM44's, KSM32's, KSM27's, KSM 141's, Beta 98's, Beta 52's, SM 98's, SM81's, SM57's, a stereo VP88, and more. (2) AKG 451, (2) 414. (2) WA87 .
