I play for me and always have, I love getting my ego stroked playing live, videos, etc. however, I've spent more years alone in some room playing, learning, practicing, jamming, collaborating then I've done anything else in my life.
I'll die a happy man knowing I played and practiced for the sheer love of the instrument.
