Hey! I’m Daniela Mandoki, a music producer, recording and mixing engineer based in Mexico City.
My goal is simple: help you bring your musical vision to life — and enjoy the process along the way. I’m deeply passionate about sound as a creative language, and I love working closely with artists to help them find and shape their own sonic identity, rather than imposing a fixed style.
I’m currently based at Forastero Sound and Music, a 100% professional studio in Mexico City, where I work as a producer and recording/mixing engineer on a wide range of projects. Alongside studio work, I continue producing albums for emerging artists and developing my own music, including my solo project Reifier, for which I recently completed the production, composition, and mixing of my upcoming album.
I work across music production, recording, mixing, mastering and sound design, and I’m comfortable moving between electronic, experimental, rock, acoustic and interdisciplinary projects. I mainly work in Ableton Live, Pro Tools and Logic, and I take pride in combining technical precision with artistic sensitivity.
How I work
I really value communication and collaboration. After listening to your ideas, I focus on understanding your references, emotions and goals so we can build a sound that truly feels like you. I work efficiently but never rush creativity, and I’m always open to feedback and dialogue throughout the process.
I can work remotely or in-studio, and I enjoy creating a relaxed, safe and inspiring environment where ideas can grow naturally.
A bit more about me
I have an academic background in audio engineering and music production, with studies at Berklee College of Music, SAE Institute, Conservatory of Contemporary Music, and ICMP London, and I hold a Dante Level 1 certification. I’m also a 2023 OneBeat Fellow, an international program supported by the U.S. Department of State, and I’ve collaborated on music and audiovisual projects across Mexico, the U.S. and Europe.
If you’re looking for someone who listens deeply, cares about detail, and genuinely enjoys making music with others — I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit ✨
