Hello! I am a professionally trained drummer and classical percussionist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Percussion Performance from the Universidad de Los Andes (ULA). With an elite orchestral background and an active international career in Jazz and commercial music, I specialize in Ultra-Precise Drum Transcription and Highly Realistic, Humanized Drum Programming.
My diverse musical background spans traditional Jazz, Latin-American rhythms, Venezuelan fusion, Pop classics, Blues, and Rock 'n' Roll. I combine my deep knowledge of real drum physics, micro-timings, and velocity with top-tier tools like Sibelius and EZdrummer. My goal is to turn robotic MIDI or complex audio tracks into punchy, humanized, and production-ready drum performances.
Orchestral & Session Highlights:
International & Recent Projects: Currently based in Antalya, Turkey, performing as a resident Jazz drummer for high-end luxury resorts and hotels. Toured Europe as a percussionist under the baton of maestro Gustavo Dudamel with the world-renowned Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar de Venezuela.
Symphonic Experience: Former member of the Orquesta Municipal de Caracas and the Orquesta Sinfónica Simón Bolívar.
Bands & Jazz Ensembles: Collaborated with Ananda Jazz Ensamble, Mr. Cool and Blueschasers, Jazz en Triciclo, Fluxus Trio, Betto Alzate y La Beat Band, Tambores del Valle, and acclaimed jazz master Pablo Gil.
