Dale “Dizzle” Virgo is a young fast rising Record Producer, Audio Engineer and Musician who
discovered his love for music at a tender age of seven when he began taking piano lessons after
prep school. Dale Antou Tonye Ian Virgo was born in Kingston but grew up in Portmore, St
Catherine and attended Excelsior High School. Over the years, Dale has produced many top
chart songs, compilations and albums in both the local and international music industry.
Fifteen years ago, Dale Virgo was a student at the University of Technology, a teenaged ‘techie’
with big dreams of making it in the music business who worked hard to make use of his gifts to
propel him to be one of the most creative producers Jamaica has ever birthed.

Dale’s scope of experience range from performing, producing and releasing music of multiple
genres. “I bring experience, versatility, diversity (to producing) and I am not afraid to try new
things. I have produced traditional church hymns to the most hardcore dancehall songs,” Dale
Said.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love by Rihanna, Serious Times by Gyptian, Rehab by The Jolly Boys,
Mama by Christopher Martin, Somewhere by Chronixx are just of the few notable hits released
that Dale had been a part of.

Dale spent time studying music at the Edna Manley College, majoring in Drums and vocals
where he developed his musical skills and provided a conduit to facilitate his journey to
becoming one of the most sought after Music Producers in Jamaica.

In June 2005, Dale founded Dizzle Lab Productions, marketing himself from his bedroom
primarily as a producer to the Gospel music fraternity under his Holy Ground Record Label,
then later on expanding his talent to the larger music industry. In November 2008, Dale joined
the Geejam team to become Technical Director and Creative Director of Geejam Hotel Group as
well as Studio Manager and In-House Producer and Engineer for Geejam Studios. At Geejam,
Dale has worked with a number of high-profile acts such as Drake, Amy Winehouse, Florence
and The Machine, Sean Kingston, Cee Lo Green, Harry Styles and Kendrick Lamar.

While working at Geejam, in 2009, Dale was introduced to members of the Jolly Boys Mento
band and for the next couple of years focussed on producing their debut album “Great
Expectations” as well as touring several countries with the band, most notably opening for
Sade’s 1 month 2011 European tour.

In March 2012, Dale founded DZL Records as a new progressive Independent Record Company,
