I’m Justin Williams (Dad Bee Music). Music runs in the family: my dad, David Williams, was a first-call Kansas City guitarist who studied under Pat Metheny and shared regional bills with artists like Oleta Adams. I grew up around session-grade players and touring tribute-circuit vocalists, so I hear the details that make or break a song: clashing vocal layers, guitars fighting the vocal, over-compression, phase problems.

* As a solo artist I was the #1 rock artist in Missouri on MySpace from 2006 to 2009, writing, playing and producing everything myself. I’ve been recording since 1999.
* I mix by ear first and check with meters second. Your song comes back loud and competitive on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and phone speakers, without losing its punch, depth or emotion. My approach draws on techniques from engineers like Chris and Tom Lord-Alge, Jens Bogren, Andrew Scheps and Streaky. I’m also a member of URM Academy.

* I designed and built my own all-in-one mixing and mastering plugin, Hive Fire, released Halloween 2026, and I use it on my own mixes. I know exactly what every stage of the chain does to your sound, because I wrote it.
What I do: mixing, mastering, vocal tuning and production, session guitar and bass, drum programming (Superior Drummer 3), and game and cinematic music.
