Hey! My name is Cameron, and I am a professional session drummer based in Sacramento, CA. Over my 12-year full-time career, I have tracked, toured, and performed across a vast range of genres, including pop, rock, jazz, fusion, and funk.I specialize in finding the exact sounds, custom parts, and dynamic textures that make a song come alive. Most recently, I shared the stage with Melissa Etheridge and was featured as a live performer in her official “More Love” music video. I have also performed with American Idol winner Taylor Hicks, played in groups opening for legendary acts like Tower of Power and Galactic, and performed alongside jazz heavyweights Steve Turre (SNL) and John Fedchock.I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Drum Set Performance from Sacramento State University. My playing and recording philosophy are heavily influenced by versatile session greats like Matt Chamberlain, Aaron Sterling, Nir Z, Steve Gadd, Steve Jordan, Blair Sinta, and Dan Bailey, as well as jazz legends like Tony Williams and Brian Blade.
