Hi, I’m Orion Mecozzi, a pop/rock producer, mixing and mastering engineer, drummer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Anaheim, California. I run Cozi Corner Music, where I help independent artists turn rough demos and developing ideas into polished songs that still feel unmistakably like them.
I have 5+ years of hands-on experience producing, recording, editing, mixing, and mastering, supported by nearly 20 years as a performing musician. I earned a BM in Commercial Music Performance from Azusa Pacific University and continued developing my studio skills through internships and training with independent producers, including Nick Tello at Title Town Sounds.
Recent work includes producing, co-writing, recording, editing, mixing, and mastering “Alive” by Orion Mecozzi & Frankie Nicole; co-producing, editing, mixing, and performing drums and percussion on the Moreno Beach Drive EP by Delfino; and mastering “Buried In My Heart” by Digital Grove.
My main focus is pop, but my experience also includes indie, rock, singer-songwriter, EDM, hip-hop, and R&B. I can support a project through full song production, vocal production and editing, additional instrumentation, mixing, mastering, or the final details that help everything come together.
My approach is collaborative, honest, and centered on the artist. I care about groove, dynamics, emotion, and understanding what makes each song personal before I begin shaping its sound. Whether you’re starting with a voice memo or bringing me a nearly finished production, my goal is to make the process comfortable, communicative, and genuinely enjoyable while helping you create music you’re proud of.
Tell me about your song and where you feel stuck. I’d love to hear what you’re creating and help you determine the right next step.
