My name is Christian Cummings and I have devoted my life to music. Growing up in Southern California, I followed my family trajectory of a life in the arts. At age 13 I assisted on my first recording session, at age 15 I played my first gig in Hollywood, and at age 17 I recorded my first single. While touring the US in my 20’s I managed to get a BA in Communication from San Diego State University, and shortly thereafter began my career in music production. Now based in San Diego, I primarily work as a Mix Engineer and Music Producer. I’m also keenly interested in emerging immersive mix formats, such as Dolby Atmos Music, Sony 306 Reality Audio, and Ambisonics.

I’ve acted as recording engineer, producer and mix engineer on hundreds of projects. I believe in supporting and developing artists, not just locally here in San Diego, but all around the world. Focusing on the the battle against mediocrity is critical. I believe that artists can achieve anything with enough focus, persistence, grit and honesty.
