Hi, I’m Babia — a music producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Brazil and now based in Los Angeles. I work closely with artists to help shape their sound in a way that feels honest, polished, and true to their vision. Whether you're looking for a full production, vocal production, or mixing, my focus is always on capturing the emotion of the performance with clarity and depth.

I’ve produced for Latin Grammy winner Alejandra Guzmán, co-wrote and performed on releases for Tonspiel / Universal Music Germany with artists El Mukuka and Henri Purnell, and produced Amparo’s EP, recorded at EastWest Studios with top-tier musicians.

In addition to my production work, I also toured as a bassist and backing vocalist with top-charting blues artist The Reverend Shawn Amos, sharing stages with artists such as Béla Fleck, Keb’ Mo’, John Scofield, and ZZ Ward. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music, where I deepened my craft in songwriting, arrangement, and music production.

My studio chain is centered around a Neumann U87 and a Milab DC-196, paired with a Neve 1073SPX, a UA 6176 channel strip, and an EL8 Distressor — delivering detailed, warm, and reliable recordings. I bring a hybrid approach that combines the character of analog gear with the flexibility of modern production tools.

Over the years, I’ve worked with both Grammy-winning, major label artists and independent musicians from all over the world. No matter the scale, my goal is always the same: to create productions that serve the song and highlight the unique character of the artist.
