I work across electronic, ambient, rock, classical, punk, metal, and indie, and over the years I've mastered releases for a handful of labels, taken on remix work for other artists, scored and edited audio for film, and mastered specifically for vinyl. I run Cubase and Pro Tools side by side, and lean on analog-modeled tools to keep masters warm and cohesive without losing what made the mix exciting in the first place.
I also make my own music, so mastering isn't abstract to me — it's a process I live on both sides of. I write indie electronic as Air for Effect, and modern classical work under my own name, so I know exactly what it feels like to hand a mix over and hope it comes back sounding like the record you heard in your head. If you've got a track that needs a final pass — whatever the genre — I'd love to hear it.
