As owner and engineer of a professional recording space, Austin delivers industry-standard drum recordings using a 24-channel Trident Series 78 console, premium Manley, UAD, and AEA preamps, and a fully treated live room with 16-foot ceilings—ideal for capturing everything from tight modern tones to expansive, cinematic drum sounds.
Austin has collaborated with acclaimed and Grammy-recognized engineers including Benny Grotto, James Plotkin, Perry Geyer, Tony Maimone, Geoff Sanoff, Miranda Serra G, Jeff Lipton, and JP Berreondo.
His performance work includes recording full percussion and multi-kit surround drum arrangements on Corpus Vice by Eden Rayz, and sessions with a wide range of independent and emerging artists.
