I grew up as a German-Moroccan girl in a small town in Germany. Early on I discovered my interest in music and dance, steadily developing a feel for rhythm, intonation and vocal range. Fostering my love for vocal expression I joined a church choir at the age of 6, discovering my voice and getting on stage for the first time. Within the first week of school I was in a band and within a few years progressed to playing local gigs and festivals. Later on I got into writing, at first mostly poems, then adding melody and rhymes turning them into songs. At 19 I turned my dream into reality by recording my first song. I moved to Leipzig, a city close to Berlin famous for its creativity, diversity and musical roots. I joined a music program for jazz musicians to deepen my understanding and appreciation of music, focusing on theory, rhythm, performance and listening. Ever since moving here I've been continuously developing my skills, recording in my home studio, writing, collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different genres and methods to find my own sound. I can offer various vocal styles ranging from silky smooth and rich to more airy and ethereal. Whether your song needs powerful, sturdy vocals, or you prefer more of a smokey, raspy tone, I'm your girl!
