In his youth, he was heavily surrounded by gospel music and church musicians as his mother sang and toured in a traveling gospel group. This birthed his love for music and he has grown in this craft ever since.
Brandon nurtured his love for music and studied opera performance, music composition, and music education. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in music from Oklahoma City University and a Masters degree in music from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a professor of music at Northern Oklahoma College and enjoys performing as a vocalist and pianist for various local bands.
