Bassist Warren Murrel has been liberating the low end for over a decade in the Southern California music scene and provided bass tracks for notable producers such as Warren Huart (The Fray, Aerosmith), Darrell Thorpe (Foo Fighters, Radiohead), Jeffrey Frickman (Family Feud).

He has also tracked on recordings of dozens of artists and band's records through producer Steve Maggiora (Toto, Produce Like A Pro)

In 2018 he joined the SoCal local band Robert Jon & The Wreck and since then has recorded three studio albums, one live album, and toured Internationally & Nationally in over 15 countries and almost all the continental United States.

RJTW have supported the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Peter Frampton, Buddy Guy, Eric Gales, Living Colour, Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Walter Trout, Rival Sons, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, The Cadillac Three, Black Stone Cherry, Devon Allman Band, Billy Sheehan, Sturgill Simpson, and many more.

Prior to joining Robert Jon & The Wreck in 2017, he played bass with several SoCal acts including The Higgs, MadTab, PWEST, DMTina & the Bumps and the Sutter Zachman Band.

Murrel is also a graduate of the Musicians Institute for Drums and Audio Engineering, with a session engineer resume that includes work for Dweezil Zappa, Don Preston, Gordon Campbell and many more.

When Murrel’s not jamming with Robert Jon & The Wreck on his one of a kind Echo Park J Bass, you can find him sipping a strong IPA in sweatpants or enjoying long walks on the beach (seriously).
