Im Wade, a Nashville-based bassist, audio engineer, and producer with a passion for creating music that feels as good as it sounds. With a background in live performance, touring, and studio recording, bringing a musician first approach to every project, combining technical precision with musical creativity.
As a bassist, I like to focus on delivering solid grooves, expressive performances, and tones that serve the song. My collection of very niche Fender, Schecter, and Music Man basses, paired with Fender amplification and a Neural DSP Quad Cortex, provides a versatile range of sounds suited for everything from traditional country, jazz, rock, metal, post-hardcore, R&B, modern country, pop, and everything in between to modern productions.
Expanding my career into audio engineering and production, I bring that same attention to detail into the recording studio. My recording setup features Lauten Audio Atlantis microphones alongside 1073-style, CAPI Heider H2, and Lauren Audio preamps, with various compressors and Plugins allowing me to capture rich, detailed, and character driven recordings.
