"It sounds Eminem crossed with Redman in the back of lowrider." If you ever find yourself at a loss for words when describing the music of rapper/producer/engineer Transcendent, that's perhaps the best way to sum it up.

A long time emcee, the Orange County native has crafted a style accessible to hardcore Hip Hop fans and casual listeners alike, bringing raw lyricism and emotion akin to that of Eminem with flows as varied as Del The Funky Homosapien, delivered with all the confidence of a young Childish Gambino.

Spending his teenage years on a Hip Hop forum, Transcendent fell in love with Hip Hop culture and began writing rhymes throughout middle school and high school. He spent most of his senior year selling his first solo project, Limitless, to fellow students between classes and performing on stage in the quad during lunch.

Eager to prove his talents, Transcendent released a collection of unofficial collaborations with industry superstars entitled HEAVYWEIGHT in early 2013, which was followed by his third solo project Something To Prove, released on September 5th, 2014. He remains active on YouTube, posting videos frequently ("Transcendent Tuesday") which feature everything from new songs to vlogs and comedy skits.

While Transcendent is not one to have modest aspirations (being the first rapper to perform in space and having a mantle lined with twenty-five Grammys, amongst the many), he first and foremost looks to use his music to inspire, teach, and entertain.
