Tamir Kedem is an Israeli composer. His compositional work focuses on film scoring, media, and visual art. Tamir has developed a unique and personal compositional practice. He creates a story within a carefully constructed musical universe.

At 21, he studied at the Center for Jazz Studies in Israel, performing with, and composing for ensembles throughout the country. Following his studies in Israel, Tamir attended The California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Los Angeles to pursue his BFA in Jazz Piano.
After recording and touring with his debut mini album, Babayaga with his band Tamir Kedem Septagon, Tamir started to center on composing for media, film scoring, and visual arts.

Tamir’s works is featured in short films which were screened in film festivals and theaters around the globe. Music he wrote for art projects were presented in exhibitions throughout Israel.

Tamir is the recipient of the Disney scholarship from CalArts, and the Artist Grant from The Anton Yelchin Foundation in 2019.
