For me, a good mix starts with the fundamentals. Before reaching for EQ, compression or another plugin, I listen to how the sounds work together and what actually needs to change. I try to understand what makes a track interesting and bring that forward instead of processing everything just because I can.
I also work with sound design and audio post-production for games and media.
