My name is Rob Nagelhout and I am a bassist, engineer, producer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. I have been a part of numerous bands/ groups ranging in genres from Rock, Hip Hop, RnB, Pop, Jazz, Orchestra, and more. I studied Popular Music Bass Performance at USC where I had the opportunity to learned esteemed musicians such as Alphonso Johnson, Patrice Rushen, and Ndugu Chancler. This is also where I began to study music recording and producing, which led me to starting a recording/production team out of college. Through this experience I had the opportunity to record, mix, and master a number of albums, EPs, singles, and live sessions. I also have national touring experience. I love helping an artist fully realize the song ideas in their heads and creating a track that truly conveys the emotion they are intending to portray.
