Born in 1981. Living in the Netherlands.
Started playing guitar at age 12 and bass guitar at age 13. I started of jamming on Nirvana, RHCP and Rage against the machine. At age 14 I met a bass Mr. Miyagi in the street where my dad lived, who revealed a new world to me with old Weather report, Sly Stone and Stevie Wonder records. Since than I've been exploring both worlds, heavy rock and soul, funk and fusion.
At age 18 I started doing paid session work for cover bands who were in need for a bass player, to fill in for gigs. That meant playing a lot of pop hits (everything from CCR to Tina Turner, and Melissa Etheridge to 2Unlimited).
When I started studying filmmaking and visual arts that session work stopped and I became more focused on composing and playing with my own bands.
Through the years I played in a lot of different projects, varying from rock to funk, surf, reggae, afrobeat, fusion and progressive rock.
At this moment I'm playing bass in NTFP World Fusion Orchestra (afrobeat-inspired fusion) and I'm playing acoustic guitar in my project Rosenburg (yes I also still play guitar).
I'm on airgigs.com for the fun of creating music, not for the money. I really like to lift projects to a higher level with a decent and creative bass track.

I can play anything, in any style. I don't read music, but I know my theory and I can play anything by ear,
Professionally I'm a animator, as in making animated films. At this moment I'm mostly teaching visual arts and filmmaking. Music, however, was my first love....and it will be my last!
