Quinn Sengupta is a professional jazz pianist based in Chicago/Miami. He has a degree in Jazz Instrumental Performance and Studio Music from the University of Miami, where he was a Stamps Distinguished Ensemble Scholar and a member of the Stamps Jazz Quintet, class of 2017. Quinn has worked and played with many great jazz musicians including Christian McBride, Fred Hersch, Kenny Barron, Dave Leibman, Jeff “Tain” Watts, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Bob Cranshaw, Rodney Whittaker, Peter Erskine, Randy Brecker, Stephan Harris, and many more. His life before collegiate level studies includes strong ties with All-State music in Illinois, as well as Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, Michigan. Quinn was also a 2013 Young Arts Foundation award winner, and received the Quincy Jones Award for contributions and creativity in multiple areas of music. He was also a 2012 Interlochen Fine Arts Award recipient.
