She is a prolific songwriter for Film & TV. Michelle has many Film & TV placements and has become well respected and recognized in the industry. Her biggest Film & TV placements to date include the use of her song “Dogs Bark & Cats Hiss” as the theme song for the MAVTV show Gear Heads, A Million Moons by her duo Cloud Anthem was used in the Amazon Prime show Good Girls Revolt, "Devour Me" was used in a prime placement on the CW show Reign, her song “You’re My Sweet Sweet Home” used for a prime placement in ABC Family’s The Fosters Season II premier and "You & My Happy Heart" (written with Paul Otten) was used in a song feature in USA's show Benched. Writing for Film & TV is an area that Michelle excels at and she will continue to focus and succeed in this area. Michelle's voice has a warm breathy feel and it conveys real human emotion that helps elevate the songs status.

Michelle performs around her home town singing originals as well as covers. She also performs with her group "Michelle Michelle" Michelle’s music and sound is influenced by Ingrid Michaelson, Sheryl Crow, Tristan Prettyman, Meiko, Birdy, The Lumineers, The Head and the Heart, Us the Duo, Warpaint, Hope Sandoval, London Grammar, The XX, Daughter, The Civil Wars, Colbie Caillat, and Oh Honey.

Michelle’s CD, More to Life, released September 2014, is her fourth CD release. She also has six single releases including one single released by Black Toast Records.
One of her notable accomplishments is winning the Grand Prize in the Folk category of the 2014 John Lennon Song Contest for her song, “Your Footprints” written with fellow songwriter Paul Otten.
