Originally from Eilat, Israel, I'm passionate about blending operatic singing with electronics, social justice, and non western music. While I pursue performances from the great canon, such as Komponist (R. Strauss, Ariadne auf Naxos), Dorabella (Mozart, Così fan Tutte), and Hermia (Britten, Midsummer Night’s Dream) on the big stage, I've been drawn to initiate and collaborate on unique projects such as In the Garden – A Homeless Woman’s Monodrama for Voice and Brass Quintet by O. Zehavi with text by T. Hakimi written after conversing with inspiring homeless women, premiered in Tel Aviv, Cleveland and Zurich; Away from Me – Transgender Song Cycle by B. Ben-Moshe with text by I. Faran and L. Arnon who bravely wrote on their experience coming out as transgender, premiered in Israeli Music Festival; Protest – Song Cycle for Soprano and Orchestra by O. Zehavi premiered in Ra'anana; Voice of the Lake by M. Brouwer premiered in Cleveland, and the roles of Martha and Laura in Paul Pinto and Gisela Cardenas’ new work-in-progress The Carmen Variations, performed in NYC. I've recorded pieces for composers such as O. Zehavi, Z.
Whitney, J. Bardanashvili and M. Brouwer.
