Massimo Orselli is a percussionist who has had the opportunity to work at a high worldwide level between Italy, England, Europe and the United States. He got a full time scholarship for the Berklee College Of Music in 2014, where he had the opportunity to study with some of the greatest teachers in the world. He also got another degree at the Ferrara Conservatory in Italy.
He has worked with several artists, such as: Incognito, Tony Momrelle, Carl Cox, Francesco Mendolia, Derrick Mckenzie, Paris Toon, Allan Harris, Grégoire Maret, Norman Edwards, Dirotta Su Cuba, Horacio El Negro Hernadez and many others.
He had the pleasure to work in several music festivals, such as the "Salsa Festival" at the Havana (Cuba), the European percussion festival "The Percfest" (Laigueglia), The Umbria Jazz Festival, The WeyFest (London),The Funk Fest (Varna - Bulgaria) and many others.
He played at the Cape Town Jazz Festival with Incognito in April 2025; he also joined the Seoul Jazz Festival with Incognito sharing the lineup with The Snarky Puppy, Thundercat, Kamasi Washington, Jacob Collier, Eliane Elias and many more.
In 2017 he auditioned for Cirque Du Soleil and entered the database of the company.
He is currently testimonial for the prestigious global company Meinl Percussion.
In 2019 he had the pleasure of being one of the artists/exhibitors at the NAMM Show in Los Angeles (United States).
He is currently working as a teacher, live musician and recording musician for several artists and companies around the world.
