Hi, my name is Maroen. I’m a professional session guitarist, producer, and composer from the Netherlands with over 37 years of experience.

I graduated from GIT (Guitar Institute of Technology) and have spent my career working as a studio musician, producer, songwriter, and live performer.

I enjoy working in many different styles and love creating music that serves the song. Whether it’s Vintage, Blues, Pop, Rock, Funk, Country, Ambient, Cinematic, or Metal, I always focus on finding the right feel, tone, and performance for every project.

I also enjoy working on film scores and cinematic music. If your project calls for atmospheric guitars, ambient textures, emotional soundscapes, or analog synth layers, I’d be happy to help.

All recordings are made in my own professional studio, TrueSoundLab. Depending on what your song needs, I record using carefully selected vintage tube amplifiers, an Axe-Fx system, premium software plugins, or analog synthesizers such as the Korg Prologue 16.

I have a carefully curated collection of instruments, including vintage Fender, Gibson, and Gretsch guitars, as well as modern instruments like Ibanez 7-string guitars. This allows me to deliver everything from warm vintage tones to modern high-gain sounds.
