Born in 1995, Marco Ielpo is an Italian guitarist and composer.

He started classical guitar studies at the age of 8 and, after a period dedicated to electric guitar, at the age of 15 fell in love with the acoustic guitar, inspired by Tommy Emmanuel’s and Andy MkKee’s music.

Graduated from high school, he continues classical guitar studies at the Conservatory of Potenza, where in 2017 he graduates.

In 2015 his first solo album “Il Viandante Solitario” was released and by then his activity as a performer increased more and more. In addition to his activity as a solo artist, he collaborates to different projects both in bands and in duo and in 2016 he won the first prize at the “M.A.F. – Musica a Fiorano” guitar competition.

In 2017 Fingerpicking.net releases “Insane Sketch”, an EP made up of 5 compositions and a bonus track.

Some month later he moves to Bologna, where he now attends the Classical Guitar Specialization at the Conservatory.
