I am Fitzpatrick Onyenaucheya, a freelance Audio Engineer based in Houston, Texas. I have mixed/mastered music and sound of all genres and have worked with musicians from different parts of the world. I began mixing in 2003 for an up and coming label called Klassik Records and currently working with Non Stop Music Group.

As a self-taught Engineer I began by utilizing my ear for sound to assist local artists in the Houston area. As the hunger for engineering knowledge began to grow within me, I decided to fly out to London, England and take up Audio Engineering formally at Point Blank Music School.

Point Blank is a music and creative media training school founded by musician and producer Robert Cowan. It offers courses in Electronic Music Production, Sound Engineering, Music Business, Djing, Singing, and Songwriting. I chose to specialized in the Art of Mixing and Mastering to further hone my skill as an Audio Engineer. Under the guidance and mentorship of Max Heyes (who has engineered for musicians from Mick Jagger to G-Unit) and Anthony Chapman (Member of mid 90s brit-hop group Collapsed Lung, who had a minor hit with the song “Eat My Goal” in 1996 and 1998). I gained a much more involved understanding of sound.

Point Blank Music School and the leadership of these two helped me to push my knowledge and understanding to a higher level of appreciation for the craft of audio engineering. I am now back home looking to build a professional resume’ and leave my mark as an Audio Engineer.
