Klaus Luchs is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer who began his musical journey on piano at the age of 7. He discovered the guitar as a teenager and started writing, performing and recording with local bands. He further pursued his passion by studying classical/jazz guitar with Fareed Haque at Northern Illinois University. Klaus also had the honor of studying with classical guitar virtuoso Denis Azabagic for many years. He also performed in masterclasses for Sergio Assad at The Chicago College of Performing Arts and Manuel Baruecco at The Peabody Conservatory. Soon after graduating music school, he quickly became a well known player for live and studio performance around the Chicago area before moving to Nashville in 2013. He has a strong reputation for being a creative, versatile musician and highly proficient at playing a multitude of string instruments. Klaus has performed and toured with many Nashville artists but he is primarily an active producer and songwriter. He releases solo albums under his own name and he produces/writes for "Marleah JoAnn" which is a group he started with singer/songwriter Marleah Liddle. Currently, most of Klaus's time is spent writing/producing music for Film and TV with multi-instrumentalist/producer Shay Watson.

Klaus released a solo album called "Z Sessions" which was distributed by Nine North Records in January of 2017. The album was produced by Saul Zonana and Klaus Luchs and recorded at Studio Z. Klaus is a big fan of Saul's music and they have a natural recording chemistry which is evident when listening to the album.

Klaus endorses Mario Guitars, Deering Banjos and D'Addario/Planet Waves products.

Klaus also uses Rick Cremer and Maton guitars.
