General:
I am a professional session guitar player; electric, acoustic, 12-string, banjo, mandolin, lap-steel, dobro and more. I have done sessions for the last 5-6 years, and also do live work, movie and TV work, and commercials.
Most of the work I do is pop-music. We are in an age where a musical alibi, or multiple musical alibies is a huge part of writing, making and producing music. Why use a guitar-synth to do a lame close-but-no-cigar result, when you can have the real thing?
The SOUND!
Creating "a sound" is just as important as ever - in all styles of music! You know, if you don't have the sound, the next guy WILL! I don't waste my time, NOR your time - I do it properly at first.
I mainly work in tree different studio facilities, depending on the result I want. I find that most of the time, efficiency and inspiration is key. For the work I do, also gear and equipment is to a certain degree, secondary. Remember; most of the time, you want guitar tones that are similar to something you've heard before BUT with a twist. Everybody can get a good sound with a classic mic/mic-re combo. Not everybody can create the "money-sounds" and make them fit in a track. (Se below for a breef description of the facilities).
So, thanks for reading! I'd love to contribute to your track(s) and create your sound and ideas =)

Facility #1
This place is best suited for acoustic instruments (guitar, 12-string, high-string / "Nashville tuning", banjo, mandolin and such), much because of the room, and also somewhat the gear.
Facility #2
This is the "plug-and-play" facility, and also by far the place I use the most. It is limited in outboard gear, but most of the people I work with, they want "clean" tracks to apply their own postproduction, so no need for that equipment anyway. This place is like "efficiency - efficiency - efficiency." ...
Facility #3
This is the "big" studio. This is where I do most of the commercial/Movie/TV stuff and a collab writing, and stuff that requires more complex recording chains.
