Hi,

I've been working as a full time musician for 7 years now and If there's one thing I continue to learn is that every genre has something special to offer me as a player which is why I especially love doing session recording. I've worked with all kinds of songwriters from amateurs to seasoned professionals so have no fear if you're not 100% sure what you're looking for, we all have to start from somewhere.

I've had the pleasure of traveling and working with all kinds of artists from around the world some of which I still collaborate with from time to time, styles vary from pop rock, folk, Americana, jazz to heavier more experimental genres. The video I have uploaded is an electric pop kind of thing and my soundcloud has a more eclectic mix of styles and sounds.

My approach to writing and recording guitar varies from song to song. It might need a simple strum to back the vocals or a more 'orchestral' kind of voicing to really help bring out the mood of the song. I always believe that silence in music is an important factor that is often overlooked so I try not to overdo what it is I'm trying to say with my parts (although the temptation can be very overwhelming), if however an artist wants me to go all meatloaf on it and have all kinds of hooks and sounds to choose from then that's also cool.

Tracks - as many as necessary.
Revisions - 3, however this can change if the track is really struggling, after all I'm not happy until you are.
Edits - I edit my own parts though can send them unedited if the sender would prefer to take care of that.

When it comes to my recording set up It's pretty simple, I work on logic x as a recording platform and I especially love using Apogee interfaces (Mostly the Duet for It's simplicity and incredible clarity). I tend to mostly go towards my AKG solidtube mic for live amp and acoustic tracks, it's got an incredibly warm character and really is my favorite condenser though the C1000S is perfect if I'm looking for a more piercing sound.

As far as gear goes I have access to all kinds of guitars, effects and amps that will bring out the ideal tone we're looking for so that really is an endless list. However I can say that I'm really into telecasters, hollow bodies and Paul reed smiths for their distintive sound and amps vary from classic twins, hot-rods, jcm's to the plug in that is guitar rig, I find having both really helps prevent limitations.
