My name is Holly Stell and I am a vocalist and songwriter out of California. I have studied classical voice since the age of 13 and have been a professional musician for 18 years. I recorded a duet with Andrea Bocelli at the age of 12 that was the theme song for the feature film The Lazarus Child starring Angela Basset and Andy Garcia. I have been featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN Showbiz Tonight, the Today Show, CBS Early Morning Show, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, MTV Canada and was the featured soloist for the National Christmas Tree Lighting at the White House where I performed for the President of the United States.

While I am classically trained, I am a very diverse artist and songwriter and have written and recorded songs in the hip hop, folk, pop, and various EDM and electronic sub genres. I can also record ethereal and haunting vocals for film.

My setup includes a MacBook, Rode compressor microphone, pop filter and a Scarlet interface. I am planning on upgrading it soon. Vocals will be sent dry.

I am very particular about pitch and sing in many different vocal resonances. I also am generally a quick writer and do not like songs to sound like someone sat down and tried to write something. I write lyrics and melody at the same time because I feel it sounds more natural and less forced. However, if you have something that is already written I would be happy to record the vocals.

I understand that as artists we have a specific vision for our projects. Because I am also a working artist and need to manage my time, I have limited my revisions to 3 but am willing to work with you to ensure you are satisfied with the final product.
