Bindy trained professionally at the Bristol Academy of Performing Arts, where she studied Musical Theatre for two years. Her leading roles included Desiree Armfeldt in Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music and Wendla in Sheik & Sater's musical adaption of Wedekind's Spring Awakening.
Since completing her training, Bindy has sung as a soloist with The Rat Pack Is Back at various theatres around the UK, and spent 6 months in Rhodes playing Anna-frid in an Abba tribute act. She is a regular soloist with Vocal Works Gospel Choir in Bath, with whom she recently had the honour of recording at BBC Maida Vale Studios. She is also one half of Bristol based acoustic duo Oxalis.
