I am a songwriter and composer. My melodies and harmonic treatment are crossed between country, alternative country and pop. I started out as a drummer in a four-piece band as age 14.

I believe that songwriting and composition are continuous improvement processes.

I enlisted in the military, and while at the U.S. Air Force Academy, I was assigned to the music department where I wrote percussion ensemble compositions.

After my military service, I attended and graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Music Education.

I play drums, piano, acoustic and electric guitars, and produce my own demos at my small home studio.

I am a faculty member and Instructor-Led Course Coordinator at www.SongU.com an educational community for Songwriters.

1. My song “Small Stuff” featured in the Twentieth Century Fox major motion picture “The Longest Ride” starring Britt Robertson, Scott Eastwood, Jack Huston, Oona Chaplin, and Alan Alda. Released on April 10th, 2015.

2. My song “Latest Version of Me” was used in the TV show “Nashville”.

3. My song “Tired”, (instrumental version) was aired on the season premiere of “The Mentalist” Sunday night September 29th, 2013.

4. My song “NOT” was recorded by new artist Analise Malick. It will be the single on her new CD release.

5. The all-girl band “JetsetGetset” recorded my song “Vitamin U”.

6. My song “My Friday” was placed as a Cable TV Network commercial for a company called ‘Smokehouse Salts’.
