I create authentic 1970s/1980s styled songs, including but not limited to: Nostalgic TV Theme Songs, Vintage Radio Jingles, 80s Weather Channel Jazz, and lush Yacht Rock Tracks. Most of my music is inspired by 1970s Library Music, like KPM records, but I also draw inspiration from many Yacht Rock hits from the late 70s and early 80s.

Every composition is original and period accurate – Instead of making songs “influenced” by the 1970s, my music feels like it actually came from that era. Every chord, melody, bassline, and tone is made to sound like it was made by a musician from past decades.

The Starlounge sound is possible using my hybrid analog-digital workflow. All tracks are recorded through the Tascam 424 multi-track cassette recorder. Afterwards, the tape-recorded song is transferred to Logic Pro X for mixing & mastering, where I use a mix of analog emulation plugins to maintain a warm, vintage sound.
