My mixing journey began out of necessity in the 1980s playing guitar in a band where I eventually transitioned to being the sound guy. My sound skills were developing well, which enabled me to mix for many bands in Lafourche area until I received an opportunity as a Sound Engineer/Production Manager with the Williams Riley Band. Between national tour dates I spent time in Nashville, TN studios where I learned the studio side of recording, mixing, and mastering.
